June Monthly Round Up

A Month of Shows, Partnerships & Steady Progress Behind the Scenes at Landmark Systems

June has been one of our busiest months of the year and that’s saying something. From the fields of Diddly Squat to the showground at Ingliston, the Landmark team has been out in force across some of the UK’s most important agricultural events, while back at base, our support, professional services, and development teams have been getting on with the important work that keeps everything running smoothly.

Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to.

Cereals 2026 Meeting the Industry at Diddly Squat

The Cereals Event never disappoints, and this year set against the backdrop of the now-famous Diddly Squat Farm it was a particularly special one. We had a brilliant couple of days, catching up with existing customers, meeting new faces from across the arable and mixed farming sectors, and having the kinds of conversations about efficiency, compliance, and software that you simply can’t replicate in online call!

The setting (and the weather!) generated its fair share of buzz, and it was great to be part of an event that brought so much of the agricultural community together in one place. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat it’s always the highlight of the summer calendar.

We were also running our popular ‘Spin to Win’ competition on the stand, and we’re delighted to congratulate Jack Deal at Scrutton Bland (part of the Sumer Group)as the winner of our £250+ British Hamper. We hope you’re enjoying it, Jack! A big thank you to everyone who visited us and entered it was great to meet so many of you.

Royal Highland Show – Stand Partners with Scottish Land & Estates

A week later and it was on to Ingliston for the Royal Highland Show – and this year again we were there not just as exhibitors but as official stand partners of Scottish Land & Estates (SLE). The SLE stand on 4th Avenue was a genuinely brilliant place to be.

SLE’s policy and regional teams were on hand throughout the four days, with conversations ranging across the issues that matter most to rural Scotland and we were delighted to be part of those discussions.

For us, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with SLE members and the wider estate and land management community, and to have meaningful conversations about how Landmark software can support the running of rural businesses across Scotland.

Our Support & Professional Services Team

Events and partnerships are the visible part of what we do. But it’s worth taking a moment to shine a light on the work happening every single day that customers rely on just as much – perhaps more.

Our Support and Professional Services teams have had an exceptionally busy June. Whether it’s answering questions on a tight deadline, talking a customer through a year-end process, or delivering in-depth training sessions to help teams get more out of their software, these teams go above and beyond to make sure our customers feel supported. Rural businesses don’t work nine to five, and neither does the commitment of the people behind our helpdesk.

We’ve continued delivering both scheduled and bespoke training throughout June, helping customers across farming, estate management, and professional advisory businesses embed better practices and get the most from their Landmark software. If you’ve been thinking about booking a training session or would like to discuss what’s available, our team would love to hear from you.

Development Update Exciting Things in the Pipeline

Finally, a mention for our development team, who have been working hard throughout June on a number of significant projects that we’re very much looking forward to telling you more about.

We know that teaser updates can be frustrating – so we’ll keep this brief and simply say: there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to improve and expand what Landmark software can do for rural businesses. We’ll be sharing more details over the coming months, and we think you’ll be excited by what’s coming.

Watch this space.

Looking Ahead

July brings more events, more conversations, and more of the steady, purposeful work that defines what Landmark Systems is about. As always, if there’s anything we can help you with in the meantime – whether that’s a software question, a training need, or just a conversation about your business – our team is always happy to talk.
