Strengthening Trust Through Data Security
This month, we proudly celebrated two major achievements in data protection and security.
Landmark Systems became officially Cyber Essentials certified, reinforcing our commitment to protecting customer information and maintaining robust cybersecurity standards. Alongside this, we also achieved Farm Data Safe certification — a nationally recognised standard that demonstrates our dedication to transparency, responsible data handling, and ensuring farmers remain in control of their own data.
These certifications are more than badges; they represent the trust our customers place in us every day.
Supporting Rural Businesses Through Seasonal Change
As farms and estates move deeper into the busy spring and summer seasons, many businesses are managing fluctuating staffing requirements. Throughout May, we highlighted how our payroll software helps rural businesses efficiently manage seasonal staff, temporary workers, and changing workforce demands.
We also continued sharing practical guidance around rural accounting, financial management, and software solutions designed specifically for the agricultural sector — helping businesses move beyond generic systems that often fail to reflect the realities of rural life.
Helping Customers Save Time in the Field
Efficiency remained a key theme throughout May, particularly with Geofolia and integrated crop recording solutions. We showcased how customers can simplify record keeping through faster data entry, automatic updates, integrated agronomist recommendations, and seamless data flow between connected systems.
By reducing admin time, our customers can focus more on what matters most — running productive and profitable rural businesses. We’ve also launched our Cropping Bundle packages; contact us and our expert team can share more information with you and answer any questions.
Out and About Across the Industry
May also saw the Landmark team actively engaging with the wider agricultural and rural business community.
From industry conferences to networking events and our ongoing training sessions, our team spent time meeting customers, partners, and rural professionals face-to-face. Highlights included preparations for the Scottish Land & Estates Annual Conference and continued collaboration with industry organisations and partners.
We also joined 60 plus of our Members of IAgSA in Lincolnshire for the first of their 2026 Regional Training Days which was a great day.
These conversations remain invaluable in helping us understand the evolving challenges facing rural businesses and ensuring our software continues to meet real-world needs.
Looking Ahead to Cereals at Diddly Squat
One of the biggest highlights on the horizon is our attendance at Cereals Event 2026, taking place this year at the now-famous Diddly Squat Farm.
We’re looking forward to meeting customers, partners, and new faces from across the agricultural sector, showcasing how Landmark software continues helping rural businesses improve efficiency, simplify compliance, and make smarter business decisions.
If you’re attending Cereals this year, make sure to stop by and chat with the team at Stand 620 — we’d love to hear what challenges and opportunities you’re seeing across the industry.
