  • Field Records

 

In the Fields module, as well as reviewing and reporting on field activities, the user can manage the nutrient planning for soil nutrient management plans and also setup the cropping for each new season. In GateKeeper next years cropping can be planned and set up in advance in preparation for the new season. Even the most complex cropping and rotation scenarios can be managed within GateKeeper without making things confusing for the user with a more straight forward farm structure.

  • Stock Control

 

As well as keeping track of stock quantities in and out and prices GateKeeper also supports multiple storage locations for both inputs and outputs. So not only can the user know “how much” but also “where”. Making sure that the physical stock on-farm matches the figures in the office can always be a challenge, but with GateKeeper this is easy. There are 5 different methods of adjusting for discrepencies.

  • Work Planning

 

Field information is added to GateKeeper via either the Planning or Recording Modules. The Planning Module allows the user to build up a series of Jobs into a Work Plan that can be given to the operator as an instruction and also a means of recording what actually happens. This record is then used to update the work completed details on the office computer.

  • Contract Business

 

Contract farming agreements are common place nowadays and managing the inputs and outputs in this situation can be very time consuming and complex. GateKeeper manages stock movement on and off and between the main business and the contract businesses. This provides the ability to manage and audit stock in even the most complex farming set-ups.
