SRPBA becomes Scottish Land & Estates

Landmark will be sharing a stand with Scottish Land & Estates (510 Ave 4) at the imminent Highland Show on 23 and 24 June.

Scottish Land & Estates is the new voice of land-based businesses in rural Scotland many of which use Landmark software. To visit their brand new website visit http://www.scottishlandandestates.co.uk 

Scottish Land & Estates is the new name decided at the Annual General Meeting of the Scottish Rural Property & Business Association (SRPBA) on Tuesday June 7, the membership voted overwhelmingly in favour of major changes to the operation of the organisation.

The main result of these changes is a step change in the representation of landowners in Scotland.

Scottish Land & Estates has been created to:
• Make the public benefits of landownership more visible
• Raise awareness of the role of landowners and estates
• Promote the role estates play in their communities
• Take a more collaborative approach to the development of land use policy
